Son of King Regis, and 114th heir to the Lucian throne. Though he was chosen by the Crystal to serve as the savior of this star, an injury incurred as a young boy deprived him access to the full potential of his innate power. With his father's blessing, he sets forth from the Crown City of Insomnia on a road trip with his three closest companions. Their destination: Altissia, where Noctis is to wed the Oracle, Lunafreya Nox Fleuret of Tenebrae. Leaving the shelter of the Citadel for the first time enlightens the prince as to just how unknown he is outside the castle walls.

NOTE: I default to a pre-timeskip canonpoint, but Noctis is available in "10 years later" flavor as well, where he'd be 30 and look a little different. I'm happy to play that version if preferred, just let me know specifically!

Reference image here (and older, at age 30 here). A man of average height and build, with pale skin, somewhat messy dark hair, and blue eyes. Probably dressed in all black, and in a pretty modern style, whether formally or informally depending on the situation.

auditory

Example here (Japanese, primarily what I reference) and here (English). He has a curt, pretty informal way of speaking by nature, with none of the ceremony one might expect from a prince. He tries to sound confident and detached, which can sometimes come off as more dismissive than he likely intends. Usually on the quieter side, prone more to grumbling if displeased, but his volume does go up when he experiences stronger emotions, within pretty average standards.

olfactory

Nothing specific mentioned in canon, but the official Noctis perfume (lmao) is described as citrusy so let's go with that for fragrance.

mannerisms

Pretty casual, his gesturing is light and tends to stay on the lazy side unless either excited about something or forced into alertness by the situation. Has a tendency to fidget when required to sit or stand in place, either shifting his weight, fiddling with his hair, or crossing and uncrossing his arms or legs. He can manage a degree of formality or decorum if required, though.

demeanor

In general, Noctis tries to play it cool, but his level of success is very relative. On the surface you've got detachment, privacy, stubbornness, a little bit of occasional sass and a dose of vocal, would-be casual overconfidence -- but it's not so difficult to draw him out from that state. A lot of his reactions and responses are impulsive and more emotional than he'd probably like or admit, while his avoidance covers up a sense of responsibility he might feel is too large for him but he can't afford to abandon. At his core, he's a good person who seeks to help others, and his heart is in the right place even if his way of expressing it sometimes isn't. He gets very excited about fishing, and is more easily nice to animals and children, probably because they don't have complicated, difficult expectations from him.
